My favourite podcasts

Is podcast the new radio? It very well maybe. The perfect way to pass the time, I love podcasts. At work, on the commute or just chilling.  Here are a few I personally reccomend.

 The Reggie Yates Podcast

Listening to the RYP is like being in a room with your mates. Hosted with his friends Baba, Owen and Uzoo, the banter is just ever flowing, I can't even listen to this at work, as i've giggled to myself a few too many to times. They discuss everything from music to relationships. They often have some amazing guests on too, many from the creative London scene.

Adulting - Oenone

Spanning more topics I can count, The Adulting podcast has an amazing range  of guests. The host Oenone welcomes many differing voices to her podcast, and provides a space of authenticity and exploration. Each episode is refreshing and I feel like I am always learning about something new.

Dellicously Ella

There are so many wellness podcasts out there, Yet I just love Delicously Ella's laidback podcast vibe. Often hosting a various of guests whose expertise range in mental and physical wellness. This podcast explores a range of topics from diet to mentality.

There are so many small things to help us live our best life it seems. Ella and her husband Matthew Mills are excellent hosts, and ask many riveting questions.

Oprah SuperSoul Conversation

Oprah...In a podcast! What more could you possibly want? I love Oprah.

The fact that so many people all over the world are given their very own platform to share and inspire their stories is a good thing. However in a quarantine enviroment, I found myself feeling unispired. I was tired of the endless scrolling, yet I just couldn't stop. The days speeded past me as I continuously rotated through Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, Tik Tok and Facebook. I sort of knew I was wasting my days and I felt engulfed in an never ending depletion. After some shallow research, I found that my feelings were not uncommon.  According to a study highlighted in the Journal of Social and Clinical Psychology in 2018, people who decreased their regular use of social media, limiting it to 30 minutes a day (10 minutes each on Facebook, Snapchat, and Instagram), reported reduced lev...

Causing George to die at the scene. George’s suspected crimes were not at all heinous, he was arrested simply because someone had suspected him of using a counterfeit bill in a grocery store. Shortly after, the footage of George’s death circulated all over the internet and infiltrated platforms such as Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. National outrage soon followed after the incident, consequently the four police officers have were removed from their positions. The Mayor of Minneapolis Jacob Frey has since called for Chauvin’s arrest and also stated ‘He [George]  would still be alive today if he was a white...
